The L’ignite – Timber Construction Regulars' Table Stuttgart took place on 25.09.2024 at Cyber Valley, Europe's largest center for AI and robotics, bringing together academic and private sector partners. In addition to a keynote speech by Angelina Jukic from Cyber Valleys on the “AI Incubator Program”, Anni Dai from ICD reported on “Practical AI in Architectural Design and Fabrication”. Nils Opgenorth and Zhenxiang Huang from ICD reported on the workshop "Prompt-to-Production: Aeonian Artefact Automation for Circular Timber Assemblies", that recently took place at DigitalFUTURES at the Tongji University. Afterwards, as always, there was plenty of time to chat and network over drinks and finger food.
The regulars' table is organized by digitize wood and the Computational Wood Architecture Research Group of the University of Stuttgart and takes place quarterly in cooperation with changing network partners. In addition to keynote speeches and guided tours, it offers a platform for professional exchange and is aimed at all planners, craftswomen, researchers and entrepreneurs who are active in the field of timber construction.
